I will start off with my story...
I adopted my 2-year old Pekingese from a dog shelter few months ago. She was so cute when I first saw her. She was actually the first dog that has captured my heart among other dogs in the shelter. So, no questions asked, I told the vet, I'll take her home.
Luckily, Picke was not abused from her former owners so she can take and give full love. They just had to give her up because they were transferred to another country (work related) and they were not allowed to bring Picke.
